What is Boldness

Courage, confidence, fearlessness, strength, zeal.

Attitude of strong confidence in God such that things are said and done openly without fear of the consequences. Trust in God, not man.

Willingness to venture out and do regardless of the barriers or fears we encounter.

God is in control, He is there within, and He will take care of us. We do not need to fear what others can do or say.

Remaining encased in fear allows obstacles to stop us so that the work and purpose of God remains undone.

When we have confidence in God we can venture beyond our limits, abilities, and comfort zones.

Surrender, let go and let God work.

Trust, let God do the driving.

What Does God Want From Us

Be justly, love mercy, walk humbly in relating to one another.

Know Him, believe Him, Obey Him.

It means living as if you’re in the presence of God, living as He intended us to live when He created us and placed in the Garden.

Faith – trust in God and in the scriptures.

Seek God to find Him, sincerely desire to understand Him, approach God with confidence that you can find Him and with willingness to do His will and obey Him. Be as He created us and intended us to be fulfilling the responsibilities He gave us over the earth, all creation.

Seek Him thru His word – the scriptures – with an open mind and desire to understand. Let the scriptures speak for themselves.

Seek Him by resolving to change, to comply with His expectations of us when He created us. Choosing to do what God expects rather than man because it is God’s will and He is the ultimate and final authority. Man’s way is not God’s way.

He wants to dwell in us, walk with us, thru the Holy Spirit. By this we are guided and strengthened to overcome the world and be a resident of God’s creation and kingdom.

Overcome the nature of man and become spirit filled creatures of God fulfilling His purpose for which He created us and have life and live as it was meant from the beginning of creation. To become part of His creation process that He might dwell and walk with us.

Creation reveals God (Roman 1:20) (Psalm 8:3-4)

His humanity (Act 17:26-28)

History reveals God – man perceives that God hides (Isa 59:2), Noah, Sodom and Gomorrah (Gen 19:28).  He intervened in the affairs of great powers, such as, Egypt, Nineveh, Babylon, and Persia.

Heb 1:1-2 and John 1:10 and Matt. 23:37

God revealed Himself in many different ways, but people did not want to see even the little part that they did see.

Thru the Bible in Ex. 3:14; Isa. 45:5,21; Isa. 55:8; John 8:12; John 10:9; John 14:6; Isa. 44:24; Isa. 46:9-10.

The Bible is about God and humanity’s relationship to Him.  The image humans must ultimately conform to is that of Jesus Christ (Roman 8:29).

God revealed Himself by becoming human. He became like us; walked and talked; served and taught among us. Gods greatest act of self-revelation was in Jesus Christ. (John 1:14).
